Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower Desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 790 Mini Tower desktop computer ships new with Windows 10 Pro installed. It uses an Intel Core i7-2600 quad-core processor running at 3.40GHz with 16GB of DDR3 memory. A 3.5-inch 1000 GB SATA hard drive and a DVD±RW optical drive handle storage and media. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000 drives the display outputs.

Before ordering check your peripherals and space

The system includes a USB keyboard and mouse so no separate input devices are required. A WiFi USB adapter provides wireless networking alongside the Gigabit Ethernet port. Verify that your monitor has a compatible video input for the integrated graphics. The Mini Tower case needs adequate desk or floor space and ventilation clearance.

Suits general office and home use not heavy

Buyers needing a ready-to-run PC for web browsing, document work and legacy Windows applications will find this configuration adequate. Users who want more storage capacity or faster solid-state storage should look elsewhere. The four memory slots are fully populated at 16GB so no RAM upgrades are possible without removing modules. Demanding creative or gaming workloads exceed the integrated graphics capability.
