Dell OptiPlex 990 Mini Tower Desktop

This Dell OptiPlex 990 Mini Tower is a desktop computer built for everyday office and home use. It runs on an Intel 2nd Gen i7-2600 processor at 3.40 GHz with a turbo boost up to 3.80 GHz. The system includes 16 GB of DDR3 RAM and a dual-storage configuration with a 128 GB 2.5-inch SSD and a 2 TB 3.5-inch hard drive. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed along with a USB keyboard and mouse.

Suits general productivity and media storage

The quad-core processor and 16 GB of memory handle web browsing, document editing and multitasking smoothly. The large 2 TB hard drive provides ample space for extensive file libraries, photos or backups. Buyers who need dedicated graphics performance for modern gaming or intensive 3D rendering should look elsewhere, as this unit relies on integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000. It is also not suited for workloads requiring more than 16 GB of RAM or a higher-wattage power supply than the included 265W unit.

128 GB SSD plus 2 TB HDD storage combo

The defining specification is the paired storage layout: a 128 GB solid-state drive for fast boot and application loading, combined with a 2 TB mechanical drive for bulk capacity. This arrangement gives both responsiveness and volume without requiring the user to add drives immediately. The 265W power supply and Mini Tower chassis set the limits for any future upgrades.
