Questions about this item

What does the Thunderbolt 3 port on the 7730 actually cap at in practice?

The Thunderbolt 3 port provides up to 40 Gbps theoretical bandwidth for data, video and charging through a single USB-C connector.

What physical space does the Precision 7730 need for its dual M.2 drives?

The chassis houses two M.2 slots occupied by a 128 GB and a 2 TB NVMe SSD; no 2.5-inch bay is present.

How is Windows 11 Pro installed on the dual SSD configuration, and what step do people miss?

Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on the 128 GB boot drive; the 2 TB drive appears as a second volume — initialise it in Disk Management before saving files.
