Precision 7730 17.3" mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 7730 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need desktop-class performance in a portable chassis. It runs on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor with 64GB of DDR4 memory. The system includes a 128GB M.2 drive plus a 2TB M.2 SSD for fast storage. An NVIDIA Quadro P3200 GPU with 6GB GDDR5 handles certified professional applications.

Suited for CAD and 3D modelling.

This laptop suits engineers, architects and designers running CAD, BIM or 3D modelling software that benefits from ISV-certified Quadro drivers. The 1920 x 1080 IPS display covers 72% color gamut for accurate visual work. Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0 support external displays and docks. Buyers who need multi-GPU scaling, larger video memory than 6GB, or newer GPU architectures for AI training should look at other platforms.

Quadro P3200 6GB GDDR5 decides professional fit

The NVIDIA Quadro P3200 with 6GB GDDR5 is the specification that determines whether this workstation matches your workflow. It delivers certified stability for SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit and similar ISV applications. The 6GB frame buffer limits scene complexity in heavy rendering or simulation tasks. If your daily work demands more VRAM or certified drivers for newer GPU generations, this graphics card will not meet those requirements.
