Precision 7730 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 7730 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8750H six-core processor, 64 GB DDR4 memory and dual NVMe storage. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P3200 graphics card with 6 GB GDDR5 video memory.

Who this suits

Engineers and designers running CAD or 3D modelling workloads that benefit from certified Quadro drivers and a 17.3 inch FHD IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 with 72 % colour gamut will find the spec aligned to those tasks. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a higher refresh rate panel or a newer GPU architecture should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification

The Quadro P3200 with 6 GB GDDR5 is the single specification that determines suitability; it delivers certified performance for professional graphics applications and is optimised for computer-aided design workloads.
