One Input Eight Outputs

The ESTONE HW-HD4K is an HDMI splitter that takes a single source and delivers eight identical, synchronised outputs. It suits installers, educators and AV integrators who need the same 4K signal on multiple displays simultaneously.

Maximum Resolution 3840x2160 at 30Hz

The critical specification is the 3840 x 2160 resolution ceiling at 30 Hz. Sources or displays requiring 60 Hz at 4K, higher refresh rates at 1440p or any HDMI 2.0 feature will not work with this unit.

Buffered Amplification Extends Cable Runs

Built-in buffering and amplification let the HDMI signal travel further than a passive connection would allow. The package includes a short 5 in. cable for the input side; longer output cables are not supplied.

Questions about this item

What does 4K at 30 Hz mean for my display setup?

The splitter delivers a 3840 x 2160 picture at 30 frames per second to each of the eight outputs, so every connected screen shows the same ultra-high-definition image simultaneously.

Which HDMI version limits the bandwidth on this unit?

Both the input and the eight outputs conform to HDMI 1.3b, capping the maximum data rate at the level that supports 1080p at higher refresh rates and 4K at 30 Hz.

How much space do I need for the eight output cables?

The box provides eight standard HDMI female ports spaced side by side; allow enough clearance for eight cable heads to sit next to each other without strain.
