8-Port HDMI Distribution Amplifier

The ESTONE HW-HD1080P takes a single HDMI source and replicates it across eight identical outputs. It supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 and audio formats including LPCM, Dolby-AC3 and DTS 7.1. The unit is intended for installers who need to drive multiple displays from one player, console or PC in classrooms, control rooms or home theatres.

Verify source output and cable runs

Confirm that your source device can output a 1080p signal compatible with the HDMI 1.3b specification used by this splitter. Each connected display must accept one of the listed video formats such as 480i, 720p or 1080p. The supplied cables are only 5 in long, so plan for additional certified HDMI leads if your displays are further away.

External power adapter enables signal buffering

A mains-powered adapter is included to drive the internal amplification stage. This buffering allows the splitter to maintain signal integrity over longer cable distances than an unpowered passive device could manage. No software, remote control or IR extender is bundled; switching between sources must be handled upstream at the source device itself.

Questions about this item

What cables come in the box and which ones do I need to add?

The unit ships with a power adapter and a short 5 in. lead; you supply one HDMI cable from your source and up to eight HDMI cables for the displays.

How do I decide between the 1080p and 1440p capability listed for this switch?

Both input and output ports support up to 1440p at HDMI 1.3b, so choose 1440p if your source and screens handle it, otherwise 1080p works on any HDMI device.

What does the 1920 x 1080 headline resolution mean when I connect eight screens?

Every one of the eight outputs mirrors the same 1920 x 1080 signal simultaneously, so each display shows an identical 1080p image.
