What this splitter does

The ESTONE OZF2-1 is a 1x2 HDMI splitter that takes a single HDMI 2.0b source and duplicates it to two displays at up to 4K 60 Hz. It passes HDR, 3D and deep-colour signals up to 36-bit while transmitting audio formats such as DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD. The unit is powered by the included USB cable and requires no drivers.

Check your source and cables

Verify that your source device outputs HDMI 2.0b and can drive the required 18.5 Gbps bandwidth for 4K 60 Hz RGB 4:4:4. Both connected displays must support the same resolution and refresh rate because the splitter mirrors the signal; it does not extend desktops or pass CEC commands. Use certified Premium High Speed HDMI cables for reliable 4K 60 Hz transmission.

How it fits in a setup

The compact black enclosure measures 5.59 by 3.15 by 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, so it sits unobtrusively behind a TV or on a desk. One HDMI input connects to a console, PC, Blu-ray player or streaming stick, while the two HDMI outputs feed matching displays such as TVs, monitors or projectors. The USB power cable can plug into any nearby USB port or charger, freeing you from a dedicated power brick.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy any cables separately?

The package includes the 1x2 HDMI splitter, a USB power cable, and a user manual. You will need to supply your own HDMI cables for the input and both outputs.

Which version of this splitter should I choose for 4K at 60 Hz with HDR?

This single model OZF2-1 supports HDMI 2.0b, 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, and deep colour up to 36 bit, so it covers that requirement without a higher-tier option.

What does the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth mean when I connect two 4K displays?

The 18.5 Gbps bandwidth allows each output to carry a full 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 signal simultaneously, so both mirrored screens show the same high-quality image without compression.
