One-to-four HDMI distribution

The ESTONE OZF4 splits a single HDMI source into four identical outputs, sending both audio and video to each connected display at the same time. It supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and passes 8, 10 or 12 bit deep colour. The unit is HDCP 1.4 compliant and handles audio formats including DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and DSD.

Powered signal path for longer runs

A 5 V DC power adapter is included so the splitter can re-clock and boost the TMDS signal up to 3.4 Gbps with a 340 MHz clock. This lets you use standard AWG26 HDMI cables for input runs up to 100 ft without signal loss. The compact black chassis measures 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, so it fits discreetly behind a rack or display.

Ready-to-use kit with no software

The package supplies the splitter, the power supply and a user manual — nothing else is required. There is no firmware to install and no configuration utility; the device simply mirrors whatever is plugged into its input across all four outputs. Buyers who need independent content on each screen or support for refresh rates above 30 Hz at 4K will need a matrix switch or a higher-bandwidth model.

Does the OZF4 splitter need its own power supply to run continuously, and is one included?

Yes, the unit requires the included 5 V DC adapter for reliable all-day operation.

What must I already have to connect four screens to the OZF4 right out of the box?

You need four HDMI cables for the outputs and one HDMI source cable; the splitter and its power supply are provided.
