Bidirectional DisplayPort switcher

The ESTONE OZQD is a DP 1.4 bidirectional splitter that lets you connect two sources to one display or one source to two displays. A single button toggles the active path with no delay or flicker. Audio and video pass through together for stereo surround sound. The unit ships with a power charging cable and manual.

Sustained 8K and high-refresh performance

The switcher maintains up to 32.4 Gbps bandwidth for stable 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz or 1080p at 240 Hz during extended sessions. Backward compatibility with DP 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0 ensures legacy sources keep working. Both input and output ports support the full 8K specification when used with certified DP 1.4 cables.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

The compact black enclosure measures 5.31 by 3.11 by .87 inches and weighs 2.12 ounces. It runs silently with no moving parts and draws power only from the included USB charging cable. Typical desktop use stays cool to the touch without active cooling.

Questions about this item

Does the 32.4Gbps bidirectional switch generate noticeable heat or noise when left running all day?

The unit is a passive electronic switch with no fan or moving parts, so it runs silently and produces only minimal warmth during continuous operation.

What cables must I already own to use the 8K@30Hz and 4K@120Hz modes on this DP 1.4 switcher?

You need standard DisplayPort 1.4 cables rated for 32.4Gbps on every connected source and display; the box includes only a USB power cable, not video cables.

Will the switcher work with my older DP 1.2 monitor and DP 1.1 laptop without losing 1080P@240Hz on the newer screen?

Yes, the device is backward compatible with DP 1.2, 1.1 and 1.0, so legacy sources and displays function normally while newer gear still reaches 1080P@240Hz.
