1x2 HDMI 2.1 Splitter 8K 60Hz

This ESTONE OZF8K1 splitter takes one HDMI 2.1 source and duplicates it to two displays. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with HDCP 2.3 compliance. The unit includes a DC 5 V power adapter for stable signal distribution. It is suited for users who need identical output on two screens or a screen and a soundbar.

Upgrading from older HDMI splitters

Replacing an HDMI 2.0 splitter with this model adds 48 Gbps bandwidth and 8K 60 Hz capability. The jump is worthwhile when the source and both displays support 8K or high-refresh 4K content. If the current chain only runs 1080p or 4K 60 Hz, the extra bandwidth will not be used.

Check cables and EDID expectations

Verify that both HDMI cables meet the 48 Gbps AWG26 standard for 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz operation. The splitter duplicates the input signal only and does not extend the desktop. EDID defaults to Output 1; if the second display has a different native resolution, the EDID switch must be set to Output 2.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inch splitter need?

The unit measures 5.59 inches wide, 3.15 inches deep and 1.26 inches high, so it fits on a small shelf or behind a display without blocking adjacent ports.

Does the box include the DC 5 V power adapter required for 8K 60 Hz operation?

Yes, the package contains the splitter, a DC 5 V power adapter and a user manual; connect the adapter before linking sources to ensure stable 48 Gbps bandwidth.

Will the HDCP 2.3 handshake need any manual reset after a firmware update on the source device?

The splitter handles HDCP 2.3 automatically; if a source changes its keys, power-cycling the splitter for ten seconds restores the handshake without user configuration.
