What the ESTONE OZHL2 does

This converter changes digital audio from optical Toslink, coaxial or USB PC sources into stereo analogue signals. It outputs through RCA phono sockets and a 3.5 mm jack, and includes a built-in headphone amplifier rated at 125 mW per channel into 32 ohm loads. The unit accepts PCM or LPCM streams at sampling rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz with 24 bit depth.

Check your source device before ordering

The optical and coaxial inputs only decode PCM or LPCM; they will not pass bitstream formats such as Dolby Digital or DTS, so the source must be set to PCM/LPCM output. The USB input is for PC audio playback only and does not read files directly from a USB flash drive. Headphones between 32 and 600 ohm impedance are supported by the amplifier section.
