ESTONE OZQD DP 1.4 Switch

The ESTONE OZQD is a bi-directional DisplayPort 1.4 switch that lets you share one monitor between two sources or toggle a single source across two displays. It suits home-office users who alternate between a desktop and a laptop, or creators who need a quick way to preview work on a second screen without unplugging cables.

Bundled power cable and manual

A USB power cable is included so the active circuitry receives stable current for reliable 32.4 Gbps throughput, and the printed manual walks through the one-button toggle operation. No driver installation or software utility is required, keeping the setup purely hardware-based.

8K 30 Hz and 4K 120 Hz headroom

The switch passes 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz when both the source and the display support those modes, and it remains backward compatible with earlier DP standards. Only one display is active at a time, so dual-monitor extended-desktop configurations are not possible.

Questions about this item

Will the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth limit 8K output to 30 Hz on the OZQD switch?

Yes, the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth caps 8K resolution at 30 Hz, while 4K reaches 120 Hz and 1080p reaches 240 Hz.

Does the OZQD switch need external power to run all day?

A USB charging cable is included, indicating the unit draws external power for continuous operation.

How much heat does the OZQD switch generate during extended use?

The compact 5.31 x 3.11 x 0.87 inch enclosure has no fan, so it relies on passive cooling and stays warm but not hot.
