The ESTONE OZV8C extracts digital audio from a single HDMI source and sends it to both an Optical Toslink SPDIF port and a 3.5mm stereo jack while passing the video signal through to a display. It suits users connecting a streaming stick, games console or laptop to a soundbar, amplifier or headphones that lack an HDMI input. The unit requires external power via the included 5V adaptor to operate.

18Gbps Bandwidth with 4K 60Hz Headroom

The extractor handles video up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz over an 18Gbps link and supports 3D, HDCP1.4 and deep colour up to 30-bit. It also passes 1080p and 720p signals. Audio formats such as DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, LPCM 7.1 and standard Dolby Digital are decoded, though Dolby Digital Plus is not supported. Three audio modes — TV, 2.0CH and 5.1CH — let you match the output to your sound system.
