The ESTONE OZV8-1 takes a single HDMI source and splits it into a pass-through HDMI output plus separate digital optical and analog stereo audio feeds. It handles video up to 4K at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and supports 3D formats. The unit is powered by an included 5 V adapter and ships with a user manual.

Bandwidth and Cable Limits at 18 Gbps

The 18 Gbps ceiling means 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 signals are supported, but higher refresh rates or deeper colour depths beyond 36-bit are not. Input and output cable runs are each rated for 10 metres using AWG 26 HDMI cable; longer or thinner cables may introduce instability. Dolby Digital Plus is explicitly not supported, so multi-channel streams using that codec will not pass through the optical port.

Aluminium Housing and Compact Mounting

The black aluminium shell measures 5.59 by 3.15 by 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, allowing discreet placement behind a display or inside a cabinet. One HDMI input, one HDMI output, one TOSLINK port and one 3.5 mm jack are arranged along the edges for straight cable routing.
