ESTONE OZV8-1A HDMI 2.0 audio extractor 4K 60Hz SPDIF 3.5mm ARC

What this extractor does

The ESTONE OZV8-1A takes a single HDMI 2.0b source and splits it into one HDMI video path plus separate optical Toslink SPDIF and 3.5 mm analogue audio outputs. It supports 4K at 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2 and passes HDR formats such as XVYCC for Blu-ray and streaming devices. The box includes the extractor, an HDMI cable, an optical cable and a USB power adapter.

Installing and common issues

Connect the source to the HDMI input, the display to the HDMI output and your soundbar or amplifier to either the optical or 3.5 mm jack; power the unit from the supplied USB adapter. The ARC function lets a compatible TV send audio back down the same HDMI cable when the extractor sits between the TV and an external speaker. A frequent issue is no sound from Dolby Digital Plus streams because that format is not supported; switching the source to LPCM or standard Dolby Digital usually restores audio.

Behaviour under sustained load

The 18 Gbps bandwidth handles continuous 4K 60 Hz playback without signal drops or HDCP handshake losses during long sessions. Audio extraction remains in sync over optical and analogue paths for hours of gaming or film marathons. The compact metal enclosure stays cool under constant use and the USB power draw is stable, so the extractor does not need a fan or external cooling to maintain performance.
