4K 60Hz HDMI Audio Extractor

The ESTONE OZV8 extracts audio from a single HDMI source and sends it to both an optical SPDIF port and a 3.5mm stereo jack while passing the video signal through to a display. It supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz with 18Gbps bandwidth and handles 24, 30 and 36-bit deep colour formats. The unit includes a 5V power adapter and an HDMI cable for immediate setup.

Check source and display compatibility

Verify that your source device and your display both support 4K at 60Hz if you plan to use that resolution; otherwise the extractor will fall back to lower modes such as 1080p or 720p. The three-position EDID switch lets you select Pass, 2CH or 5.1CH audio output to match your amplifier or soundbar. Note that Bluetooth headsets are not supported and Yamaha receivers must be connected to the audio output, not the HDMI input.

Steady operation with external power

The included 5V 1A adapter supplies up to 350mA working current, so the extractor maintains stable signal extraction during long viewing or gaming sessions without drawing power from the HDMI source.
