Check your source and power before ordering

Verify that the device you want to connect actually outputs composite video through three RCA ports, because this unit only accepts that format and cannot handle S-Video, component or HDMI inputs. You must also provide a separate 5V/1A USB power source such as a phone charger or laptop port; the converter will not operate without it. Remember the conversion is one-way from RCA to HDMI, so a reverse connection is not possible.
