65 ft Toslink cable for home theatre

The ESTONE T001A is a 65 ft Toslink digital optical audio cable with male-to-male connectors. It carries multi-channel Dolby AC-3 and DTS signals between TVs, sound bars, game consoles and AV receivers. The 24k gold-plated plugs and double braided nylon jacket resist corrosion and physical wear.

Replaces shorter or damaged optical leads

This cable upgrades installations where the stock lead is too short or the connectors have degraded. The 65 ft length suits runs across larger rooms or through trunking. The jump is worth it when the existing cable cannot reach the equipment rack or shows intermittent signal loss.

Simple push-fit installation with pop-up plugs

Each end uses a pop-up plug design that aligns the fibre core automatically for reliable coupling. The heavy-duty alloy shell grips the port securely yet releases easily. The only common issue is forcing the connector in upside down, which can damage the delicate lens tip.

Questions about this item

What outer diameter does the 65 ft cable need to pass through?

The cable has an outer diameter of 2.2 mm and 5.0 mm, so any conduit or grommet must accommodate at least 5.0 mm.

How do the pop-up plugs on the male-to-male connectors align during installation?

The pop-up plug design lets you line up the optical tips precisely before seating; push straight in until the connector clicks, avoiding angled insertion that can damage the lens.

When should the gold-plated connectors be cleaned or the cable replaced?

Wipe the 24k gold-plated tips with a dry lint-free cloth if dust builds up; replace the cable if the fibre core is kinked or the nylon braid shows fraying that exposes the inner jacket.
