16-Channel 4K UHD DVR with 6 TB

This Eyemax Prestige TVST PVT recorder captures up to 16 analogue cameras at 8 megapixel resolution and stores footage on a 6 TB drive. It supports HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and 960H formats on the same unit. H.265 encoding extends recording time by up to 30 percent. The system includes RAID 1 mirroring for drive redundancy.

Installers managing mixed-format sites

The recorder suits projects that combine different analogue camera types and need a single 4K-capable back-end with gigabit networking. Sites that require IP-only cameras or more than 16 channels will need a different architecture. Users wanting wireless camera pairing or cloud-first management should look elsewhere.

16 BNC inputs for analogue cameras

Sixteen BNC ports accept HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and 960H signals simultaneously, letting you keep existing cabling while upgrading to 4K recording. The chassis provides RAID 1 mirroring across the installed storage. Remote viewing uses the Magic Viewer app over the gigabit Ethernet link.

Questions about this item

What rack space and connections does the 16-channel DVR need?

The unit fits a standard rack and provides HDMI, VGA and composite video outputs plus a Gigabit Ethernet port for network access.

Which cable and address step is often missed when installing the recorder?

Connect each camera to a BNC input, then assign a unique IP address in the network menu before adding the channel in Magic Viewer.

How do the mirrored drives affect future storage replacement?

RAID 1 mirrors data across two drives; if one fails, replace it with an identical capacity drive and the array rebuilds automatically.
