Eyemax Prestige TVST PVT 16CH 4K 8M UHD video recorder 16 TB

16-channel 4K UHD video recorder

This 16-channel recorder captures 8-megapixel UHD footage from HD-TVI, CVI, AHD and 960H cameras on a single unit. It suits installers and site managers who need mixed-analogue support with a 16 TB storage capacity. The Magic Viewer app provides remote access for monitoring away from the control room.

Sustained recording with H.265 and RAID 1

H.265 encoding reduces bit-rate by roughly 30 percent compared with older codecs, extending archive duration on the installed drives. RAID 1 mirroring protects footage against a single drive failure without interrupting the recording stream. Gigabit Ethernet handles the continuous outbound traffic from all 16 channels during peak motion events.

Pre-installation checklist

Confirm that each camera uses HD-TVI, CVI, AHD or 960H signalling so the mixed inputs are compatible. Verify that the display accepts 4K output at 60 Hz via HDMI, VGA or composite for the programmable spot-out function. Ensure the network infrastructure supplies a Gigabit link and that RS-485 cabling is in place for any PTZ units.
