EZCOO 1x2 4K HDMI Splitter

The EZCOO EZ-SP12H2 is a compact HDMI 2.0 splitter that takes one source and sends identical video to two displays. It handles 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma and 18 Gbps bandwidth, making it suitable for gamers, streamers and installers who need simultaneous output to a 4K TV and a secondary screen.

Independent down-scaling and audio support

Each of the two HDMI outputs can down-scale a 4K or 4K HDR signal to 1080p without affecting the other port, so a 4K TV and an older 1080p display work together. The splitter passes Dolby Vision, HDR, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, DTS-HD Master Audio and LPCM up to 7.1 channels through both HDMI connections.

Plug-and-play with EDID and scaler switches

Setup requires only connecting the source, the two displays and the included USB power cable, then selecting the EDID mode (4K 5.1, 4K 7.1 or Copy) and enabling the scaler on the port that needs 1080p. The unit has no CEC, ARC, eARC or VRR support, and firmware upgrades for VRR or Dolby Vision down-scaling must be requested from the seller. It is not for users who need audio extraction via S/PDIF or analogue outputs.

Questions about this item

Will the power supply or cables need replacing over time?

The splitter draws power through its USB port and ships with a 3 metre HDMI cable, so only the USB adapter or cable would need replacement if they fail.

What resolution or bandwidth limit appears first during long sessions?

The HDMI 2.0 interface caps throughput at 18 Gbps, so 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit is the highest sustained signal the splitter can pass.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce when running all day?

The compact 2.6 x 6.3 x 12 cm enclosure has no fan and runs silently, with only mild warmth during continuous operation.
