Solar post lights for 4×4 posts

Home Zone Security ELI1402V solar post lights are a two-pack of white glass fixtures that mount directly on standard 4×4 wood posts. Each unit integrates a solar panel and warm LED so no wiring or external power supply is needed. The dusk-to-dawn sensor activates the light automatically at night.

Replaces wired low-voltage caps

These lights remove the transformer, buried cable and timer that a traditional low-voltage system requires. The jump is worthwhile when you want accent lighting on a deck or porch without trenching or hiring an electrician. One-point-two-volt solar charging keeps installation to a few minutes per post.

Suits homeowners adding accent glow

Buyers who need bright task lighting or security-grade output should look elsewhere because each cap delivers only twelve lumens. The glass housing and included screws suit decorative perimeter marking, not pathway illumination or large-area coverage.

Questions about this item

Will the ELI1402V cap fit my 3.5 x 3.5 in. posts?

Yes, the light is intended for 4 x 4 posts with a 3.5 x 3.5 in. mounting footprint, so it matches that post size directly.

What is the installation step people most often miss?

The on/off switch underneath the cap must be flipped to on before you drive the included mounting screws into the post, otherwise the dusk-to-dawn sensor never activates.

When will the 1.2 V rechargeable cells need replacing?

Typical NiMH cells last one to two years; when the light dims or shuts off early after a sunny day, open the battery compartment and swap in fresh 1.2 V AA cells.
