HP EliteBook 850 G7 15.6-inch business laptop

This new HP EliteBook 850 G7 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-10310U quad-core processor. It comes with 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. The 1920 x 1080 IPS panel uses LED backlighting and is non-touch. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Professionals needing a portable 15.6-inch device for office applications, video calls and multi-monitor setups via Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI will find it suitable. Buyers who want a pristine cosmetic appearance should note the Grade B rating, which means visible scratches or shiny keys are present. Users requiring dedicated graphics performance or a touchscreen display will not be served by this configuration.

Deciding specification: 8 GB soldered DDR4 memory

The system ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory that cannot be upgraded after purchase. This capacity determines whether the laptop can handle your typical workload and multitasking demands. If your daily tasks regularly exceed this memory limit, you will need to consider a different model with higher installed RAM.
