Ready-to-work business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G7 ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and an Intel Core i5-10310U quad-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 drive give immediate capacity for office suites, browser tabs and video calls. It is aimed at professionals who need a reliable 15.6-inch machine without further setup.

Storage and memory headroom

The 256 GB NVMe drive holds the operating system, core applications and a working set of project files, but large media libraries or virtual-machine images will require external or cloud storage. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 handles typical multitasking across productivity apps and web sessions; heavier development workloads or simultaneous containers may exhaust the available RAM.

Connectivity and daily ergonomics

Two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt support plus two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one charging) cover docks, peripherals and power delivery from a single cable. HDMI, a combo audio jack and Intel AX201 Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5 handle displays, headsets and wireless networking. The non-touch 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and integrated webcam suit long days of document work and conference calls. Grade B cosmetic condition means visible scratches or shiny keys are present.

Questions about this item

Will the Intel Core i5-10310U and Thunderbolt 3 ports work with my older USB-A dock and HDMI monitor?

The laptop has two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support, one HDMI port, and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, so your existing dock and monitor can connect directly or with a simple adapter.

How can I confirm the 16 GB DDR4 memory and 256 GB NVMe SSD are detected after first boot?

Open Windows 11 Pro Settings > System > About to see the installed 16 GB RAM and processor, then check Task Manager > Performance > Disk to verify the 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD appears.

Does the box include the AC adapter, and do I need to buy a Thunderbolt 3 cable separately?

The package contains the laptop with Windows 11 Pro preloaded and an OEM wattage-appropriate AC adapter; a Thunderbolt 3 cable is not included and must be purchased separately if required.
