HP EliteBook 850 G7 quad-core laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G7 is a 15.6-inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-10610U processor with four cores and eight threads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 256GB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display uses LED backlighting and is non-touch. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics share system memory for visual output.

Suits mobile professionals needing Thunderbolt 3

Two USB 3.1 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support allow connection to docks, external displays and high-speed storage. HDMI output, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and a combo audio jack cover legacy peripherals. Intel AX201 Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 provide modern wireless connectivity. The 720p webcam supports video conferencing. Buyers who want a touchscreen, discrete graphics or a larger factory SSD should look at other models.

256GB NVMe SSD and 8GB RAM for mainstream workloads

The 256GB NVMe drive offers fast boot and application launch for office suites, browser-based tools and light creative tasks. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 handles typical multitasking with several applications open. Heavy video editing, large dataset analysis or virtualisation will exceed the available memory and integrated graphics headroom. Storage can be expanded via the M.2 slot if the chassis permits.
