20-Port PoE+ Switch Module

The HP J9990A module adds 20 copper ports with 10/100/1000BASE-T connectivity and PoE+ support to a compatible chassis. Four additional SFP+ ports provide 1G or 10GbE uplink flexibility. It is designed for network teams expanding wired access in campus or branch environments.

Upgrade From Non-PoE Linecards

This module replaces linecards that lack PoE+ or SFP+ uplinks, delivering power to phones, cameras and access points over the same copper run. The jump is worth it when existing 10/100/1000BASE-T ports cannot supply PoE+ or when uplink capacity must move beyond 1GbE without changing the chassis.

Fits 5400R zl2 Switch Series
