Converts HDMI sources to DisplayPort displays at 3840×2160@60Hz and 1080p@120Hz with HDCP 2.2 compliance
This active converter connects an HDMI 2.0 source to a DisplayPort 1.2 display with a male HDMI plug and a female DP socket. It supports 3840x2160 at 60 Hz, 1440p at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz for laptops, desktops, PS5 and Xbox consoles. A USB-C power port must be connected for reliable operation.
The adapter only converts from HDMI output to DisplayPort input; it will not work in reverse or with a DisplayPort source. It cannot increase the native resolution or refresh rate of the connected device, so Xbox Series consoles remain limited to 1080p while PS5 reaches 4K at 60 Hz. HDCP 2.2 compliance protects premium content but the dongle is incompatible with Nintendo Switch.
The converter comfortably drives 4K UHD monitors, projectors and HDTVs at 60 Hz for productivity and media playback. For competitive gaming it handles 1080p at 120 Hz, giving smooth motion on high-refresh displays. Bandwidth caps at the HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 specifications, so higher resolutions or refresh rates such as 4K at 120 Hz are not supported.

The adapter supports both; use 3840x2160@60Hz for 4K monitors and 1080p@120Hz for high-refresh 1080p displays — choose the mode your monitor accepts.
It converts an HDMI 2.0 source signal to DisplayPort 1.2, giving you 3840x2160 at 60 frames per second with HDCP 2.2 content protection.
It outputs DisplayPort 1.2, which caps the link at the bandwidth needed for 3840x2160@60Hz and 1080p@120Hz — higher resolutions or refresh rates are not supported.
