4K 1×2 HDMI Splitter with Power Adapter

The Jansicotek splitter takes a single HDMI source and mirrors it to two displays at up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz. It supports 3D, deep colour 36 bit and audio formats including LPCM, Dolby-AC3, DTS 7.1 and Dolby TrueHD. The metal enclosure aids heat dissipation and the unit ships with a 5 V 2 A AC adapter.

Check source version and cable lengths

Verify that your source device outputs HDMI 1.4 or earlier; the splitter cannot work with HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 signals. Plan cable runs within the rated distances: up to 40 ft from source to splitter and 60 ft from splitter to each display, or 50 ft and 60 ft respectively per the alternative spec. Ensure both displays accept the same resolution and refresh rate because the unit only duplicates, it does not extend.

Fits between source and two screens

Connect the source to the single HDMI input, then run two HDMI cables from the outputs to your TVs, monitors or projectors. The external 5 V power supply provides stable signal amplification for longer runs. The splitter is compatible with computers, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 Pro, Fire Stick, Blu-ray players and similar HDMI sources. It does not add extra inputs or support daisy-chaining beyond the two mirrored outputs.

Questions about this item

Does the box include everything needed to connect two monitors, or must I buy extra cables?

The package contains the 1×2 splitter unit, a 5 V / 2 A AC adapter and a user manual; HDMI cables for the source and the two displays are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 30 Hz model or look for a 60 Hz version for my 4K screen?

This splitter is limited to 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz and cannot pass 4K at 60 Hz; if your display requires 4K 60 Hz you will need a different splitter that supports HDMI 2.0 or later.

What does the 10.2 Gbps bandwidth figure mean when I connect a 4K source?

The 10.2 Gbps link carries 4K at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz with deep-colour 36-bit video and multichannel audio such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio, but it cannot transport 4K 60 Hz signals.
