USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable delivers 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz with HDR over 6.6 ft
The Jansicotek BK-CD2 is a 6.6 ft cable that connects a USB Type-C source to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It is built for users who need to drive high-resolution monitors from laptops, tablets or desktops equipped with a USB-C video output. Triple shielding and solid copper conductors help maintain signal integrity over the full length.
The cable carries up to 32.4 Gbps using HBR3 signalling and supports DSC 1.2 for visually lossless 3:1 compression. That bandwidth ceiling defines the maximum timing combinations: 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 2K at 240 Hz. Higher refresh rates at a given resolution, or deeper colour at the top resolutions, exceed the link capacity and will not work.
The USB-C port on your device must support DisplayPort Alt Mode with HBR3 speeds to reach the advertised resolutions. Ports limited to DisplayPort 1.2 or lower will fall back to 4K at 60 Hz or less. Verify that your host’s USB-C implementation includes video output; data-only or charging-only ports cannot drive a display through this cable.
