6.6 ft USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable

This 6.6 ft cable connects a USB-C source with DisplayPort Alt Mode to a DisplayPort 1.4 display. It suits professionals driving high-resolution monitors from laptops such as MacBook Pro 2021, M1 Mac Mini, iPad Pro or XPS models. The male-to-male design requires no adapters.

32.4 Gbps bandwidth with DSC 1.2

The link delivers 32.4 Gbps over HBR3 and uses DSC 1.2 for visually lossless 3:1 compression. It handles 8K at 60 Hz with 10-bit HDR, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz. Bandwidth runs out beyond these refresh-rate ceilings or with uncompressed 8K above 60 Hz.

Triple-shielded solid copper construction

Triple shielding and solid copper conductors protect signal integrity over the full length. The cable carries 32-bit audio and supports HDCP 2.2, FreeSync, G-Sync and MST for multi-monitor chains. It needs a USB-C port with video-out capability; it will not work from USB-C ports that lack DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Questions about this item

Will this 32.4 Gbps USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable drive my older 4K 60 Hz monitor without issues?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, so it will run a 4K 60 Hz display at its native 3840x2160@60Hz resolution.

How can I verify the 32.4 Gbps link is active after I plug the cable into my Thunderbolt 4 port?

Check your OS display settings or GPU control panel; they should report the link running at HBR3 with DSC 1.2 and the expected refresh rate such as 4K@144Hz or 2K@240Hz.

Does the box contain only the 6.6 ft male-to-male cable or are any adapters included?

Only the 6.6 ft USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable is supplied; no extra adapters or converters are bundled.
