The Jansicotek OZV8-1 splits one HDMI source into a mirrored HDMI output plus optical Toslink and 3.5 mm analogue audio. It handles 4K at 60 Hz, 1080p, 3D and deep-colour video up to 36-bit. The aluminium shell unit is aimed at owners of soundbars or AV receivers that lack HDMI inputs.

Passive cooling with external 5 V supply

The extractor draws power from an included 5 V 1 A adapter and has no fan, so it adds no audible noise to a living-room setup. Video bandwidth reaches 18 Gbps over HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2, while the 10 m AWG26 input cable limit keeps signal integrity at 4K60. Power consumption stays low enough for the supplied brick.

Bundled power adapter and EDID switch

A 5 V 1 A power supply and a user manual ship in the box, removing the need to source a separate wall wart. The EDID selector lets you choose 2.1 CH, 5.1 CH or pass-through modes so the source outputs the correct audio format for your sound system. Dolby Digital Plus and Atmos are not supported on the optical or 3.5 mm outputs.
