It accepts YPbPr or RGB input through a 5RCA connector and stereo analogue audio via R/L phono jacks. The device outputs a digital HDMI signal up to 1920 x 1080P resolution. No software installation is required for operation.

The unit draws power from an included 5V DC adapter and contains no moving parts, so it runs silently without generating noticeable heat. Video bandwidth reaches 165MHz or 1.65Gbps per channel, totalling 6.75Gbps across all channels. It supports 8-bit per channel colour depth for 24-bit overall. Audio passes through as 2-channel LPCM and the converter handles uncompressed formats such as DTS Digital and Dolby Digital.
