A 1 TB SATA M.2 2280 internal SSD delivering up to 570 MB/s read and 540 MB/s write speeds with 3D NAND and a 1,000,000-hour MTBF
Model NT-1TB-2280
The KingSpec NT-1TB-2280 is an internal solid-state drive in the M.2 2280 form factor with a 1TB capacity. It connects through the SATA III interface and uses 3D NAND memory components. The drive is designed for consumer desktops, laptops and ultrabooks that have an M.2 SATA slot.
This SSD suits systems with an M.2 slot wired for SATA signalling and a 2280-length bay. It delivers up to 570 MBps sequential read and 540 MBps sequential write with 58,800 IOPS random read and 62,500 IOPS random write. Builders whose platform only supports PCIe signalling cannot use this drive.
The single specification that decides fit is the SATA III interface on an M.2 2280 connector. The motherboard or laptop must provide a SATA-wired M.2 slot; a PCIe-only slot will not work. No other interface is supported by this model.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the SATA III interface is backward compatible with SATA 3 Gbps ports, though sequential speeds will be limited to the older port's maximum throughput.
Run a benchmark tool such as CrystalDiskMark using a 1 GiB test file on an empty partition; results should approach the rated sequential figures.
A cooling sticker is included; a mounting screw is not supplied and must be sourced from the system manufacturer or a hardware kit.
