Questions about this item

How do I install extra DDR5 memory in the Legion 5, and which slot do people forget to seat fully?

The laptop has two SODIMM slots supporting up to 64GB total; the lower slot is deeper and often left partially unseated, so press firmly until both side clips click.

What part will need replacement first under heavy daily use?

The lithium-ion battery is the only consumable component; it degrades with charge cycles while the soldered CPU, GPU and 4TB SSD have no user-serviceable wear items.

Which thermal limit appears first during long gaming sessions?

The Intel Core i9-14900HX hits its 5.80GHz turbo ceiling and then throttles to stay within its power envelope, so sustained clocks drop before the GPU reaches its own limit.
