Compact Business Desktop

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M720q is a micro form factor desktop built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor reaching 4.10 GHz. It ships with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 2.5" 128 GB SSD, plus Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. A USB keyboard and mouse are included for immediate setup.

Storage and Expansion Limits

The single 2.5-inch drive bay holds the supplied 128 GB SSD, leaving no room for an additional 2.5-inch drive without removing the existing one. Memory uses DDR4 UDIMM modules in a 240-pin DIMM form factor, capped at the installed 32 GB. Graphics rely on integrated Intel UHD Graphics with no discrete card slot available.

Build and Daily Use

The tiny black chassis fits behind a monitor or on a desk shelf, using passive airflow within its micro footprint. Wireless connectivity comes via a supplied USB 5 GHz-capable dongle rather than an internal card. A DVD-ROM drive occupies the slim optical bay, and the front panel stays minimal with only essential ports exposed.
