ThinkPad T490 i7 for business mobility

The Lenovo ThinkPad T490 i7 is a 14.0 inch laptop built for professionals who need a portable Windows 10 Pro machine. It combines an Intel Core i7-8565U quad-core processor with 24GB of DDR4 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Suits mobile workers; not for heavy GPU loads

This configuration suits mobile workers who value a fingerprint reader, 720p webcam, and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with Bluetooth 5.0 for secure remote sessions. The 50WHr battery supports typical office workloads on the move. Buyers who need discrete graphics for rendering, gaming, or multi-monitor 4K output should look at a different class of system.

2TB PCIe NVMe SSD decides storage fit

The single specification that determines whether this unit fits the buyer is the 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. It provides high-capacity, low-latency storage for large project files and local databases. If the workflow demands more than two terabytes of internal solid-state space, this laptop cannot meet that requirement.
