Nine-port USB-C hub adds 4K HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, dual USB 3.0, SD and microSD slots, 3.5 mm audio and 60 W power delivery
This new LORDWORLD adapter expands a single USB-C port into nine connections. It provides a 4K HDMI output at 30Hz, a 1080P VGA port, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports running at 5 Gbps, SD and Micro SD card readers supporting UHS-I, plus a 3.5 mm audio jack for stereo output and microphone input. The hub draws power through a USB-C PD 3.0 input rated at 60W to charge the host device while in use.
The hub works with most USB-C devices including MacBook Pro models from 2016 through 2019, MacBook Air 2018 and 2019, Dell XPS 13 and 15, Surface Book, Google Pixelbook, Samsung Chromebook and Galaxy S9/S10 series phones. It is not for buyers who require 4K video at 60Hz, need more than two USB-A ports, or want a hub that operates without an external power supply connected to the PD port.
The single specification that decides compatibility is the 60W PD 3.0 charging port which accepts 5V, 12V and 20V profiles. If the host laptop demands more than 60W for charging under load, the hub cannot supply enough power and the battery may drain during use.
Measured against everything we stock in SATA, IDE & M.2 Drive Adapters, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The hub draws power through its USB-C PD 3.0 port at up to 60 W (5 V, 12 V, 20 V) and runs without a fan; normal warmth is expected under continuous load.
Your laptop needs a USB-C port that supports video output and data; the hub then delivers 4K@30 Hz HDMI, 1080p@60 Hz, and 1000 Mb/s Ethernet.
Yes, the 2016 MacBook Pro’s USB-C ports support USB 3.0, so both hub ports can reach 5 Gbps data rates.
