YIHOOG
PCIe 4.0 adapter adds an M.2 2230 NVMe slot to Xbox Series X|S with 32 GB/s bandwidth and aluminium cooling
The YIHOOG adapter lets Xbox Series X and Series S owners add a Western Digital CH SN530 M.2 2230 NVMe drive for faster game loads and Quick Resume switching. It accepts only the 512 GB or 1 TB CH SN530 models and connects through the console's internal expansion slot.
A full aluminium alloy shell acts as a heatsink to draw heat away from the high-speed memory during extended sessions. The PCB runs the PCIe 4.0 protocol at up to 32 GB/s bandwidth, doubling the 3.0 lane rate, while immersion-gold fingers maintain clean contact resistance.
The all-metal housing protects the drive and aids heat dissipation without adding active cooling. Only brand-new CH SN530 drives work out of the box; used units must confirm MBR partition format or be reformatted before use. No other SSD models are supported.
Measured against everything we stock in SATA, IDE & M.2 Drive Adapters, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Slide the Western Digital CH SN530 512 GB or 1 TB into the M.2 2230 slot, secure it, then insert the full aluminium shell into the Xbox Series X
The aluminium alloy shell passively dissipates heat from the CH SN530 SSD; no fan, thermal pad replacement or firmware updates are required for the adapter itself.
The PCIe 4.0 interface caps sequential throughput at 32 GB/s, so extended transfers cannot exceed that bandwidth even if the CH SN530 SSD supports higher speeds.
