This LUOM adapter converts an HDMI source into analog YPbPr component video with stereo R/L audio. It is aimed at owners of older TVs, projectors or monitors that lack HDMI but retain component inputs. The aluminium-cased unit is powered from an included 5 V supply and requires no drivers.

Check your source and display before ordering

Verify that the sending device outputs HDMI and that the receiving screen accepts YPbPr on five RCA sockets, not composite video on three. The converter handles 480p at 60 Hz, 576p at 50 Hz, 720p at 50 or 60 Hz and 1080i or 1080p at 50 or 60 Hz, passing each resolution through unchanged. It does not scale signals and cannot operate in reverse from component to HDMI.
