Magnetic USB-C Adapter for 140W Charging

This LUOM LD140W adapter adds a 90-degree magnetic connection to a USB-C port. It suits laptop users who want to reduce wear from frequent plugging and who need full USB4 data and 8K video capability through a single compact coupler.

USB4 and Thunderbolt Limits at 20Gbps

The coupler passes up to 20Gbps, which is the ceiling of the USB4 link it extends. Thunderbolt 3 or 4 hosts will negotiate the same rate, so longer or daisy-chained cables cannot exceed this bandwidth. Power delivery tops out at 140W, and the 24-pin gold-plated contacts carry 8K video at 60Hz without conversion.

140W Power Delivery Decides Suitability

If the laptop or charger cannot supply or accept 140W over USB-C, the adapter will still work but fast charging will not activate. Buyers who need more than 140W or who rely on proprietary charging protocols above that level should look elsewhere.

Does the USB4 magnetic adapter limit charging speed or video bandwidth in daily use?

It passes up to 140W Power Delivery and 20Gbps data while supporting 8K@60Hz display signals, matching the host port's capabilities.
