Magnetic USB-C adapter for high-power charging

The LUOM LD140W magnetic USB-C adapter connects male-to-female and supports USB4 at 20Gbps. It handles up to 140W power delivery and 8K video at 60Hz or 4K at 144Hz. The 24-pin gold-plated design ensures reliable contact for laptops, tablets and docking stations.

Sustained load behaviour with 140W power delivery

The adapter automatically adjusts output parameters to match the connected device, maintaining safe charging up to 140W without power loss. Its ultra-strong magnetic hold prevents accidental disconnection during extended sessions. The slim profile avoids blocking adjacent ports on compact devices.

USB4 interface limits at 20Gbps and 8K60Hz

USB4 caps data throughput at 20Gbps, so sustained transfers cannot exceed this bandwidth. Video output reaches 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 144Hz when paired with a compliant USB4 cable. Buyers needing Thunderbolt certification or higher wattage than 140W will find those requirements unmet by this adapter.

The adapter is rated for up to 140 W power delivery and automatically adjusts output to the connected device, so it runs at the level your hardware requests.

What must I already own for the LD140W to deliver 20 Gbps data and 8K 60 Hz video?

Will this magnetic adapter work with my 2018 iPad Pro and 2020 iPad Air without blocking adjacent ports?

Yes, the slim design fits those models and leaves neighbouring ports accessible.
