1-to-2 4K HDMI Splitter with Audio Extraction

This HDMI 2.0b splitter takes one source and mirrors it to two displays at up to 4K 60 Hz with HDR support. It suits users who need identical video and audio on a TV and a projector, or on a display and an AV receiver, without extending the desktop.

Audio extractor and mixed-resolution handling

The unit passes HDMI audio to both outputs and can also feed an amplifier or soundbar through the second HDMI port. When one display accepts 4K 60 Hz and the other only 1080p, the splitter downscales the second output automatically, though 4:2:2 4K 60 Hz sources are not downscaled.

Bandwidth and cable reach

Rated at 18.5 Gbps, it handles RGB 4:4:4, 30-bit and 36-bit deep colour, and HDCP 2.3. With standard AWG26 cable, 1080p signals reach 15 metres on both input and output, while 4K signals are reliable to 8 metres.

Questions about this item

Will the 5 V power adapter need replacement over time?

The unit ships with a 5 V power adapter; no user-serviceable parts inside so the adapter is the only item that may eventually need swapping.

What bandwidth ceiling limits sustained 4K 60 Hz transmission?

Maximum bandwidth is 18.5 Gbps, which is the first limit reached when pushing 4K at 60 Hz with full RGB 4:4:4 colour.

Does the splitter generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

No fan is present; the aluminium enclosure runs warm but stays within normal operating temperature for continuous use.
