1x2 HDMI Splitter for 4K@30Hz

The LUOM OZF2 takes a single HDMI source and duplicates it to two displays simultaneously. It supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30Hz and 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz. Audio formats including DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, and LPCM 7.1 are passed through without loss. The unit is powered via an included USB cable.

Replaces basic passive splitters that drop 4K

This powered amplifier maintains signal integrity over longer cable runs where unpowered units fail. The jump is worth it when you need reliable 4K@30Hz mirroring to two screens with full 36-bit deep colour and high-bit-rate audio. It does not extend the desktop across displays; it only mirrors the same image.

Limited by HDMI 1.4a bandwidth of 18.5Gbps

The interface caps 4K output at 30Hz, so 4K@60Hz sources will be downscaled or rejected. HDR metadata and higher refresh rates at 4K are not supported. For 1080p content the splitter handles 60Hz and 3D formats without issue. Buyers needing 4K@60Hz or variable refresh rates must use a different interface standard.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the splitter so I can check it fits behind my TV?

The unit measures 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, making it small enough to tuck behind most displays without blocking adjacent ports.

Does the USB cable included provide power, and which end plugs into the splitter?

Yes, the supplied USB cable powers the splitter; connect the micro-USB end to the splitter and the standard USB end to a 5 V port on your TV, console or a USB charger.

Will the HDMI ports wear out or need firmware updates over time?

The HDMI connectors are passive mechanical ports rated for thousands of cycles and the splitter contains no updatable firmware, so no software maintenance is required.
