LUOM OZF2 HDMI 1×2 Splitter

This LUOM OZF2 splitter takes one HDMI source and duplicates it to two displays simultaneously. It supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. Audio formats including DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, and LPCM 7.1 pass through without degradation. The unit requires no software or drivers to operate.

Ideal for mirroring a single source to two screens

Installers needing identical output on two televisions or projectors in retail, office, or home-theatre settings will find this device fits the task. It does not extend a desktop across monitors, so users who need independent displays should look elsewhere. The 18.5 Gbps bandwidth ceiling also means 4K at 60 Hz is not supported.

18.5 Gbps bandwidth and HDMI 1.4a specification

The 18.5 Gbps limit governs the maximum resolution and refresh rate the splitter can handle. It carries 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz with deep colour up to 36-bit. Any source or display combination demanding higher throughput will not work correctly with this unit.

Questions about this item

Will the USB power cable need replacing over time?

The included USB cable supplies power to the splitter; if the cable frays or the connector loosens, swapping it for any standard USB-A cable restores operation.

Does the 18.5Gbps bandwidth cap 4K output at 30Hz?

Yes, the 18.5Gbps limit and HDMI 1.4a specification restrict 3840x2160 resolution to a maximum of 30Hz.

Does the unit get warm when running continuously?

The aluminium enclosure acts as a passive heatsink; during all-day use it becomes warm to the touch but stays within normal operating temperature.
