The LUOM OZF2 takes a single HDMI input and mirrors it to two HDMI outputs at the same time. It handles video and audio together so both screens show an identical picture. The unit is powered from a USB cable included in the box. It is built for setups that need the same content on two televisions or monitors.

HDMI 1.4a bandwidth limits resolution and refresh

The splitter works with the HDMI 1.4a interface, which caps 4K signals at 30 Hz while allowing 1080p at 60 Hz. Deep-colour modes up to 36 bit are supported within the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth. Higher refresh rates at 4K or newer HDR formats are not possible because the standard does not carry them.

4K at 30 Hz maximum decides fit

The highest video mode the device can pass is 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. If your source and both displays need 4K at 50 Hz or 60 Hz this splitter will not deliver that rate. For 1080p workflows the 60 Hz ceiling is usually sufficient.
