LUOM OZHL2 192kHz DAC converter

The LUOM OZHL2 converts digital audio from optical Toslink, coaxial SPDIF and USB sources into stereo analogue signals for amplifiers or powered speakers. It accepts PCM and LPCM streams at sampling rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192kHz with 24-bit depth. A supplied IR remote selects the active input without touching the unit.

Input capacity and headroom

Three digital inputs cover common TV, console and PC connections, while RCA and 3.5mm outputs feed both a main system and a headphone. The headphone amplifier delivers 125mW per channel into 32ohm loads and supports impedances from 32 to 600ohm. USB input is limited to PC audio streaming and does not read USB storage devices.

Thermals noise and power draw

The unit draws power from the included USB cable so no external mains adapter is required. Passive operation keeps it silent in normal use with no fan or moving parts. The metal chassis dissipates the modest heat from the DAC and headphone stage without temperature concerns.
