Bi-Directional DP 1.4 Switch

The LUOM OZQD is a DisplayPort 1.4 bi-directional switch that supports 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth. It lets you connect two computers to one monitor or one computer to two monitors, though only one display is active at a time. A manual button toggles the active source or display.

Check DP 1.4 cables and port availability

Verify that your graphics cards and monitors have native DisplayPort 1.4 outputs to reach the advertised resolutions and refresh rates. You will need standard DP 1.4 cables rated for 8K on every connection. The unit requires the included USB power cable for operation, so a free USB port or charger must be nearby.

Replaces manual cable swapping for dual-PC setups

This switch removes the need to physically unplug cables when moving between two workstations or toggling a single PC between two screens. The upgrade is worthwhile if you regularly share one high-refresh monitor between a desktop and a laptop or switch a gaming rig between a primary panel and a secondary display. It does not support simultaneous output to both screens.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy any DisplayPort cables separately?

The package includes the bi-directional switch, a power charging cable and a user manual. DisplayPort cables are not included, so you will need to provide your own DP 1.4 cables that support the 8K@30Hz or 4K@120Hz bandwidth.

Should I choose the 1-in-2-out or 2-in-1-out mode for my setup?

Use 1-in-2-out when one computer needs to switch between two monitors (only one monitor active at a time). Use 2-in-1-out when two computers share one monitor. The switch handles both modes; pick the one that matches your source and display count.

What does the 32.4 Gbps bandwidth mean for my 4K@120Hz gaming monitor?

The 32.4 Gbps link is the full DisplayPort 1.4 rate, so a 4K@120Hz signal fits without compression. You must use a certified DP 1.4 cable and a GPU that outputs 4K@120Hz to achieve that refresh rate.
