Purpose and Audience

The LUOM OZQV is a composite audio-video switcher that routes four RCA sources to three displays or recorders. It suits owners of legacy consoles, DVD players or VCRs who need to share those devices across multiple televisions without re-plugging cables.

Signal Routing Constraint

The unit operates as a 4-in, 3-out selector rather than a matrix, so every connected output shows the same chosen source at any moment. Buyers who need different sources on different screens simultaneously cannot use this device for that purpose.

Power and Thermal Behaviour

A supplied 5 V 1 A adapter powers the all-metal chassis, which remains cool and silent during operation because no active cooling is required. Typical draw stays well within the adapter rating, so heat and noise are negligible in normal use.

Questions about this item

How does the 4 in 3 out layout work when I connect multiple consoles to three TVs?

Each of the four composite sources can be routed independently to any of the three TV outputs, so one console can feed all three screens or each screen can show a different source.

What bandwidth does the composite video path support?

The video path is rated from 50 Hz to 5.5 MHz with a 75 ohm impedance, matching standard definition composite signals.

How much space does the metal chassis need on a shelf?

The unit measures 8 by 5.6 by 0.7 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, so it fits in a shallow rack or behind a TV stand.
