What this cable delivers

This two-pack of USB-C to USB-C cables carries USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 data at up to 20 Gbps, 100 W power delivery and 4K 60 Hz HDR video. Each 6.6 ft length suits desk or travel setups. Buyers who need Thunderbolt 3 or 4 certification should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

Your host and peripheral must both support USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 or Thunderbolt 3/4 to reach the 20 Gbps rate. Video output only works on ports with DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Devices limited to USB 2.0 or 3.0 will fall back to slower speeds.

Thermals noise and power

Passive copper construction means no fans, no noise and no extra heat beyond normal resistive loss. The cable handles 5 A at 20 V for 100 W charging without active cooling. In typical use it runs at ambient temperature.

Questions about this item

What does the 20 Gbps data rate actually deliver when I plug this cable into a real machine?

The cable supports up to 20 Gbps over USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, so an external SSD that also uses that interface can move large files at near the rated speed; actual throughput depends on the drive and host controller.

Which interface standard does the cable use and what does that limit in practice?

It uses USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, which caps at 20 Gbps for data and 100 W for power; video requires the host port to support DP Alt Mode, otherwise only charging and data work.

What physical length and connectors do I need to allow for when routing this cable?

Each cable is 6.6 ft long with USB-C male plugs on both ends, so measure the path between your laptop, dock or monitor and the power source to ensure the reach is sufficient.
